A single bauble of cast violet rests upon a hand-loomed band of vulcanized cord. The verdant counterpoint catches the light. The Iris is the maison's first piece. It is, technically, a rubber band ring. We are asking you to consider it as something rather more.
Description
A cocktail ring composed of violet and verdant vulcanized cord, hand-loomed across a tensioned form and finished with the maison's double-clove knot. A single bauble of cast violet resin is set at the centre. Presented in the violet velvet case, with a hand-numbered registration card. The card is signed by the founder in pencil and traced over in gold pen.
Materials
Vulcanized cord (violet, no. 06; verdant, no. 04), sourced in fluorescent multi-packs and individually selected by colour stability. Cast resin bauble in matched violet. Internal armature in 18k gold plated brass. The setting is hand-finished, signed, and inspected at three light angles.
Craftsmanship
Each Iris Ring is woven by hand at the maison's atelier (the founder's bedroom) from a single length of cord. Loom-time approximately forty-seven minutes, timed on the founder's mother's wristwatch. The ring is then signed, registered in the maison's ledger (a Moleskine, ruled), and prepared for presentation.
Presentation & Engraving
The Iris is presented in the maison's signature violet velvet case with ivory satin lining. Complimentary engraving on the inner armature is available; please allow seven days. Engraving is performed by gold pen, after pencil rehearsal.
Shipping & Returns
Complimentary express shipping, signature required. Thirty-day return window for unworn, registered pieces. Engraved pieces are final sale. The piece is not suitable for chewing; if chewed, rinse warm.
